Meghan Markle Starts 2025 With Her First Instagram Post In Years

The Internet has truly changed our lives, especially in the way that we interact with each other. We often use social media to stay in touch with friends and family and some use it to stay in touch with the world.

Meghan Markle is certainly someone who has used social media to her advantage in the past. At some point, however, she decided to take a break from social media and it has been quite a while since we have heard from her.

It wasn’t just Meghan Markle who took a break from social media, Prince Harry also took a break in 2021. After they left England, there were many people who cast hate in their direction so they decided to step out for a bit.

Just to show you how popular they can be on social media, when she joined under an Instagram account in 2019, she gained more than 1 million followers in only six hours. It seemed to be too much, and eventually, she needed a break.

In speaking about what he felt like to have so much negativity in her direction, she said: “You can’t think of what that feels like. I don’t care if you’re 15 or 25, if people are saying things about you that aren’t true, what that does to your mental and emotional health is so damaging.”

She decided to get back on the bandwagon, however, and posted her first post in years to her new Instagram account, @meghan.

Although we aren’t sure, it seems as if Harry may have taken the video and it was a great one. It shows her running on the beach in white jeans and a white top before stopping and writing ‘2025’ in the sand.

Nobody knows exactly what it means yet, but perhaps it was some sort of a New Year’s resolution. At any rate, she seems to be excited about the new year, and it could have to do with her new show, With Love, Meghan.

She said: “For my own self-preservation, I have not been on social media for a very long time. I made a personal choice to not have any account, so I don’t know what’s out there. And in many ways that’s helpful for me.”

We have been anticipating this for quite some time. In an interview from 2022, she once said: “Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back… on Instagram.”

It looks like 2025 was the year to do it!
