There are two types of people in this world, those who enjoy math and those who hate it. It really doesn’t matter which side of the issue you happen to fall on, however, a simple math test can be an enjoyable eye-opener.
This math test was so simple that it was actually given to a youngster at school. The problem was, when they brought her home from school, the parent was struggling to find out the true solution.
Are you able to solve the problem? Let’s just say that only one out of about every 40 people were able to get the solution to the problem. In fact, some of those people who did get the answer struggled to find out why they got it.
When this math problem was posted online, things only got worse because it seemed as if everybody was arguing over what the answer was. Admittedly, people like to debate things but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they should be debating the answer to a simple math quiz.
This is also something that can test your skills beyond math. It has to do with problem-solving, and you have to be able to think outside of the box and logically work through the problem in order to come up with the answer.
At this point, you have either come up with the solution or you are struggling to find the solution and you want to know the answer. We are going to tell you the answer in a moment, but we want you to give the problem a fair chance first.
The reason why is, because if you do come up with the solution, you have some serious bragging rights. Since so many people got the problem wrong, you can be happy that you got it right.
In addition, once you see the answer, you will never be able to solve the problem on your own.

For each of these problems, you do more than the simple addition, you also multiply the first number by the second number and then add the first number.
1+4 would be 1×4=4 +1=5
2+5 would be 2×5=10+2=12
3+6 would be 3×6=18+3=21
5+8 would be 5×8=40+5=45
