I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve all heard about the traveling salesman whose car became disabled in the middle of nowhere.<\/h2>\n

It took him several hours to make it to the nearest farm house, he finally reached their front door and knocked on it.<\/p>\n

A grizzled old farmer answered, and the salesman pleaded for a place to spend the night.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy sure young fella, I can give you a place to bunk.\u201d said the hospitable old man. \u201cBut I ain\u2019t got no daughter for you to sleep with, like you always hear about them in jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh !\u201d said the salesman. Then thinking a moment or two he asked,\u00a0\u201cHow far is it to the next farmhouse ?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A disappointed salesman of Coca-Cola returned from his assignment to Saudi Arabia.<\/h2>\n

A friend asked, \u201cWhy weren\u2019t you successful with the Saudis?\u201d<\/p>\n

The salesman explained, \u201cWhen I got posted, I was very confident that I would make a good sales pitch. But I had a problem. I didn\u2019t know how to speak Arabic. So I planned to convey the message through three posters. First poster: A man lying in the hot desert sand totally exhausted and fainting.<\/p>\n

Second poster: The man is drinking Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n

Third poster: Our man is now totally refreshed. And then these posters were posted all over the place.<\/p>\n

\u201cTerrific! That should have worked\u201d said the friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe hell it should have!\u201d said the salesman. \u201cNo one told me they read from right to left.\u201d<\/p>\n

A little old Texas lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.<\/h2>\n

\u201cGood morning,\u201d said the young man, \u201cIf I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners, straight from California.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGo away!\u201d said the old lady, \u201cI haven\u2019t got any money to spend on things like that!\u201d and she proceeded to close the door.<\/p>\n

Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t be too hasty!\u201d he said. \u201cAt least wait until you\u2019ve seen my demonstration.\u201d<\/p>\n

And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this vacuum cleaner doesn\u2019t remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder, cross my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
