The lawyer insists they play a game where they ask each other questions.<\/p>\n

If the mom doesn\u2019t know the answer, she pays him $5. If he doesn\u2019t know the answer, he owes her $500.<\/p>\n

Intrigued, the mom agrees, thinking this will be quick. The lawyer asks the first question: \u201cWhat\u2019s the distance from the Earth to the moon?\u201d<\/p>\n

Without missing a beat, the mom pulls out $5 and hands it to him.<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s her turn. She asks, \u201cWhat goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?\u201d<\/p>\n

The lawyer, confident at first, spends the next hour Googling, emailing colleagues, and even searching the Library of Congress. But no answer.<\/p>\n

Frustrated, he finally hands her $500.<\/p>\n

She thanks him, takes the $500\u2026 and goes back to sleep.<\/p>\n

The lawyer, still perplexed, wakes her up:
