An elderly couple was flying to Hawaii for a two-week vacation to celebrate their 50th anniversary.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Suddenly, over the public address system, the captain announces, \u201cLadies and gentlemen, I am afraid I have some very bad news. Our engines have ceased functioning and we will attempt an emergency landing. Luckily, I see an uncharted island below us and we should be able to land on the beach. However, the odds are that we may never be rescued and will have to live on the island for the rest of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thanks to the skill of the flight crew, the plane lands safely on the island.<\/p>\n

An hour later, the husband turns to his wife and asks, \u201cHoney, did we pay the car bill this month?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, sweetheart,\u201d she responds.<\/p>\n

Still shaken from the crash landing, he then asks, \u201cDid we pay our credit card bill yet?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh no! I\u2019m sorry. I forgot to send the check,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne last thing, did you remember to pay the medical bill for the hospital visit last month?\u201d he asks.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, forgive me, sweetheart,\u201d begged the wife. \u201cI didn\u2019t send that one, either.\u201d<\/p>\n

The husband grabs her and gives her the biggest hug in 50 years. She pulls away and asks him, \u201cWhat was the hug for?\u201d<\/p>\n

The husband answers, \u201cThey\u2019ll find us!<\/p>\n

The husband was falling asleep but the wife was in a romantic mood and wanted to talk.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cYou used to hold my hand when we were c0urting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wearily he reached across, held her hand for a second, and tried to get back to sleep.<\/p>\n

A few moments later she said: \u201cThen you used to kiss me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mildly irritated, he reached across, gave her a peck on the cheek, and settled down to sleep.<\/p>\n

Thirty seconds later she said: Then you used to bit3 my neck\u201d<\/p>\n

Angrily, he threw back the bedclothes and got out of bed.<\/p>\n
