Beverly, 90 years young, had played golf every single day since her retirement 25 years ago.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

But one evening, she returned home looking unusually downcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s it,\u201d she told her husband, Gus. \u201cI\u2019m giving up golf. My eyesight has gotten so bad that once I hit the ball, I can\u2019t see where it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gus, who was a remarkable 103 years old, made her a comforting cup of tea and said, \u201cWhy don\u2019t you take me along and give it one more try?\u201d<\/p>\n

Beverly sighed. \u201cThat\u2019s no good,\u201d she replied. \u201cYou\u2019re 103! What help could you possibly be?\u201d<\/p>\n

Gus straightened up proudly and said, \u201cI may be 103, but my eyesight is perfect!<\/p>\n

The next day, Beverly reluctantly took Gus to the golf course. She teed up, took a powerful swing, and squinted down the fairway. Turning to Gus, she asked, \u201cDid you see the ball?<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course I did!\u201d Gus replied confidently. \u201cI told you, my eyesight is perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat!\u201d said Beverly, feeling a surge of hope. \u201cSo, where did it go?\u201d<\/p>\n

Gus paused for a moment, then scratched his head. \u201c\u2026I don\u2019t remember.\u201d<\/p>\n

Three mischievous old grannies were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home when an old grandpa walked by.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One of the grannies shouted:<\/p>\n

The old man laughed and said,<\/p>\n

\u201cNo way you can guess that, you crazy old ladies!\u201d<\/p>\n

One granny winked and said,<\/p>\n

The grandpa, feeling a little embarrassed but eager to prove them wrong, dropped his pants. \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n

The grannies inspected carefully \u2014 asked him to turn around twice, jump up and down a few times\u2026<\/p>\n

Then they all yelled out together:<\/p>\n

Shocked, the grandpa pulled up his pants and asked,<\/p>\n

The grannies burst out laughing and said:<\/p>\n

A blonde gets an opportunity to fly to a nearby country.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

She had never been on an airplane before and felt very excited and tense. As soon as she boarded the plane, a Boeing 747, she started jumping in excitement, running over seat to seat and shouting, \u201cBOEING! BOEING! BOEING!\u201d<\/p>\n

As she yelled, she forgot where she was, and even the pilot in the cockpit heard the noise. Annoyed by the situation, the pilot came out and shouted, \u201cBe silent!\u201d<\/p>\n

There was pin-drop silence everywhere and everybody started to look at the blonde and the angry pilot.<\/p>\n

She stared at the pilot in silence for a moment, concentrated really hard, and all of a sudden started shouting: \u201cOEING! OEING! OEING!\u201d<\/p>\n

One day, I asked my English teacher,<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cWhy do we ignore some letters in pronunciation eg. the letter H \u2026in Hour, Honour. \u2026etc. ???\u201d<\/p>\n

My English teacher said, \u201cWe are not ignoring them; they\u2019re considered silent \u201c\u2026\u2026. (I was even more confused???)<\/p>\n

During the lunch break, my teacher gave me her packed lunch and asked me to heat it in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n

I ate all the food and returned her the empty container\u2026!!!<\/p>\n

My English teacher: \u201cWhat happened? I told you to go and HEAT my food, you are returning me an empty container.\u201d<\/p>\n
