Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer that has since spread to his bones, according to a statement from his office on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Considering how advanced the cancer is, the family is reviewing treatment options.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,\u201d the statement\u00a0read<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once the news spread, messages of support came pouring in.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump was among those who expressed their sadness about Biden\u2019s recent medical diagnosis.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., however, wasn\u2019t as sympathetic \u2014 on the contrary, he made a comment about Biden\u2019s cancer diagnosis that enraged many.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWhat I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???\u201d Donald Trump Jr. wrote.<\/p>\n

Further, Trump Jr., who serves as a trustee and executive VP of the Trump Organization, agreed with a comment \u201cwithout question\u201d that stated Biden was \u201crunning the country as a vegetable under the rug.\u201d<\/p>\n

As expected, social media quickly responded with\u00a0criticism<\/a>\u00a0of his remarks.<\/h2>\n

\u201cMocking a man\u2019s cancer and blaming his wife, who\u2019s not even a medical doctor, shows just how low and shallow he is. \u2018Stage five\u2019? It\u2019s Grade Group 5, boneh**d,\u201d someone wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t politics. It\u2019s cruelty. Ugly, dumb, and vile. Nothing else to call it,\u201d another person added.<\/p>\n

A third person accused Don Jr.\u201d accused Don Jr of \u2018\u201dshameless opportunism dressed up as patriotism.\u201d<\/p>\n
