Little Johnny\u2019s father was a pastor in a small church.
\nOne day, his father told Little Johnny that a very important bishop was coming and that he would be staying with them.<\/p>\n
Little Johnny became very excited and asked his father if he would get to meet him. His father thought about this and decided that he would let Little Johnny bring the bishop tea in the morning and wake him up. Little Johnny agreed to do this and was very excited.<\/p>\n
His father gave him instructions: first, knock on the door of the bishops room and then say to him: \u201cIt\u2019s the boy, my Lord, it\u2019s time to get up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Little Johnny was very excited and rehearsed his lines repeating them over and over. Finally the day came and Little Johnny had learned all his lines. He went to the door and knocked.<\/p>\n
He was so excited and nervous though that his lines got mixed up and the boy said, \u201cIt\u2019s the Lord, my boy, and your time is up!\u201d<\/p>\n
One recent Sunday, a young boy arrived to his Sunday school class late.
\nHis teacher knew that the boy was usually very prompt and asked him if anything was wrong. The boy replied no, that he was going to go fishing, but that his dad told him that he needed to go to church instead.<\/p>\n
The teacher was very impressed and asked the boy if his father had explained to him why it was more important to go to church rather than to go fishing.<\/p>\n
To which the boy replied, \u201cYes, ma\u2019am, he did. My dad said that he didn\u2019t have enough bait for both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n
One day a young teen was in a church for the first time and he got a seat net to a not-so-good-looking woman.
\nThe pastor was preaching and he said: \u201cTell your neighbour how beautiful they are.\u201d<\/p>\n
and the boy stood up and said pastor: \u201cHow can you expect me to lie in a church?\u201d<\/p>\n
A young boy and his dad went out fishing one fine morning.
\nAfter a few quiet hours out in the boat, the boy became curious about the world around him. He looked up at his dad and asked \u201cHow do fish breath under water?\u201d<\/p>\n
His dad thought about it for a moment, then replied, \u201cI really don\u2019t know, son.\u201d<\/p>\n
The boy sat quietly from another moment, then turned back to his dad and asked, \u201cHow does our boat float on the water?\u201d<\/p>\n
Once again his dad replied, \u201cDon\u2019t know, son.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pondering his thoughts again, a short while later, the boy asks \u201cWhy is the sky blue?\u201d<\/p>\n
Again, his dad replied. \u201cDon\u2019t know, son.\u201d<\/p>\n
The inquisitive boy, worried he was annoying his father, asks this time \u201cDad, do you mind that I\u2019m asking you all of these questions?\u201d<\/p>\n
