They roamed the aisles for a bit before confidently grabbing a box of tampons and making their way to the checkout.<\/p>\n<p>The pharmacist, curious and a little amused, looked at the older boy and asked,<br \/>\n\u201cHow old are you, son?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEight,\u201d the boy answered proudly.<\/p>\n<p>The pharmacist smiled and leaned in.<br \/>\n\u201cDo you know what these are used for?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>The boy shrugged and said,<br \/>\n\u201cNot exactly. They\u2019re not for me\u2014they\u2019re for my little brother. He\u2019s four.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trying to hold back a chuckle, the pharmacist said,<br \/>\n\u201cOh really? And why would your brother need these?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The boy replied, perfectly serious,<br \/>\n\u201cWe saw on TV that if you use these, you can swim, play tennis, and ride a bike.
