We were fooling around, the passion started to heat up, when she suddenly says: \u201cI don\u2019t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.\u201d<\/p>\n
I said, \u201cWHAT? Then what was all that about?!?\u201d<\/p>\n
Then she uttered the words that every husband on the planet dreads to hear\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re just not in touch enough with my emotional needs as a woman, for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.\u201d<\/p>\n
She saw my puzzled look and said, \u201cCan\u2019t you just love me for who I am and not for what I do in the bedroom?\u201d<\/p>\n
Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.<\/p>\n
The very next day I decided to take the day off work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store.<\/p>\n
I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn\u2019t decide which one to take so I told her \u201cwe\u2019ll just buy them all\u201d.<\/p>\n
She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit.<\/p>\n
We went to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.<\/p>\n
Let me tell you, she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck.<\/p>\n
I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she didn\u2019t even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, \u201cThat\u2019s fine, honey.\u201dShe was almost nearing ecstatic satisfaction from all of the excitement.<\/p>\n
Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, \u201cI think this is all dear, let\u2019s go to the cashier.\u201d<\/p>\n
I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, \u201cNo honey, I don\u2019t feel like it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled \u201cWHAT??!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
Then I said, \u201cReally, honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while<\/p>\n
You\u2019re just not in touch enough with my financial needs as a man, for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n
