A woman goes into a tackle shop to buy a rod and reel for her grandson\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n
She doesn\u2019t know which one to get so she just grabs one and goes over to the counter.<\/p>\n
A cashier is standing there wearing dark shades.<\/p>\n
She says, \u201cExcuse me, sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?\u201d<\/p>\n
He says, \u201cMa\u2019am, I\u2019m completely blind; but if you\u2019ll drop it on the counter, I can tell you everything from the sound it makes.\u201d<\/p>\n
She doesn\u2019t believe him but drops it on the counter anyway.<\/p>\n
He says, \u201cThat\u2019s a six-foot Shakespeare graphite rod with a Zebco 404 reel and 10-LB. test line.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a good all-around combination and it\u2019s on sale this week for only $20.00.\u201d<\/p>\n
She says, \u201cIt\u2019s amazing that you can tell all that just by the sound of it dropping on the counter. I\u2019ll take it!\u201d
\nAs she opens her purse, her credit card drops on the floor.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, that sounds like a Master Card,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
She bends down to pick it up and accidentally farts.<\/p>\n
At first she is really embarrassed, but then realizes there is no way the blind clerk could tell it was she who farted.<\/p>\n
Being blind, he wouldn\u2019t know that she was the only person around.<\/p>\n
The man rings up the sale and says, \u201cThat\u2019ll be $34.50 please.\u201d<\/p>\n
The woman is totally confused by this and asks,\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cDidn\u2019t you tell me the rod and reel was on sale for $20.00? How did you get $34.50?\u201d<\/p>\n
He replies, \u201cYes, Ma\u2019am. The rod and reel is $20.00,\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n
