A busy Midwest Airlines flight was canceled, and a single agent was left rebooking a long line of frustrated travelers.<\/p>\n
Out of nowhere, an irate passenger shoved his way to the desk, slapped his ticket down, and barked, \u201cI NEED to be on this flight, and it HAS to be FIRST CLASS!\u201d<\/p>\n
The agent remained calm and replied, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, sir. I\u2019ll be happy to assist you, but I need to help these folks first. Once I\u2019ve taken care of them, I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll work something out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Not satisfied with her response, the man raised his voice so everyone in the terminal could hear. \u201cDO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO I AM?\u201d<\/p>\n
Without missing a beat, the agent picked up the microphone for the public address system. \u201cMay I have your attention, please?\u201d she announced, her voice echoing through the terminal.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a passenger at Gate 22 who DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can assist him in identifying himself, please come to Gate 22 immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n
The line of passengers erupted in laughter. The man, now red-faced, leaned in and hissed, \u201cF*** you!\u201d<\/p>\n
Still unfazed, the agent smiled sweetly and said, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, sir, but you\u2019ll need to get in line for that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
