A woman is being hounded by her family to put up Christmas decorations, so she heads to the local store in search of Christmas lights.<\/h2>\n

Upon arrival, the store assistant shows the woman the top brand of Christmas lights.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are our top selling Christmas lights this year,\u201d he tells her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s great, but I need to make sure every light bulb works before I make a purchase,\u201d she demands. \u201cPlease plug them in so I can see.\u201d<\/p>\n

The store assistant opens the box, untangles the lights and plugs them in. To the customer\u2019s delight, every colourful bulb lights up.<\/p>\n

The man behind the counter unplugs the lights and carefully places them back in the box. He then goes to scan the item before the lady starts kicking off.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what do you think you\u2019re doing?\u201d she says. \u201cI don\u2019t want this box. I want one that hasn\u2019t been opened.\u201d<\/p>\n

One day Dan asks Bob, \u201cSo Bob what did you get for Christmas?\u201d<\/h2>\n

Then Bob says to Dan, \u201cOh see that brand new red Ferrari outside?\u201d<\/p>\n

Dan says, \u201cOOOOH WOW!<\/p>\n

Bob says, \u201cYa, I got the same exact color tie!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nothing would please me more!<\/h2>\n

Husband: \u201cSoon we will be married for 10 years. I will get you a nice new car for our anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wife: \u201cOh darling. Nothing would please me more!\u201d<\/p>\n

And so the husband got her nothing for the anniversary.<\/p>\n

Shortly before our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband sent 25 long-stemmed yellow roses to me at my office.<\/h2>\n

A few days later, I plucked all the petals and dried them.<\/p>\n

On the night of our anniversary, I spread the petals over the bed and lay on top of them, wearing only a negligee.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019d hoped, I got a reaction from my husband.<\/p>\n

When he saw me, he shouted:\u00a0\u201cAre those potato chips?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A tightwad was looking for a gift to give a friend.<\/h2>\n

Everything was too expensive except for a glass vase that had been broken and he could purchase it for almost nothing.<\/p>\n

He asked the store to send it hoping his friend would think it had been broken in transit.<\/p>\n
