A 16-year-old came home with a Porsche and his parents began to yell and scream, \u201cWhere did the car come from?\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

He calmly told them, \u201cI bought it today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith what money? his parents asked. \u201cWe know what a Porsche costs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d the boy said, \u201cthis one cost me fifteen dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The parents began to scream even louder. \u201cWho would sell a car like that for fifteen dollars?\u201d They asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was the lady up the street,\u201d said the boy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know her name \u2013 they just moved in. She saw me ride past on my bike and asked me if I wanted to buy a Porsche for fifteen dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy God!\u201d the mother moaned, \u201cWhy does she sell a Porsche for fifteen dollars? Who knows what she will do next? John, you go right up there and see what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

So the boy\u2019s father walked up the street to the house where the lady lived and found her in the yard, where she was quietly planting flowers.<\/p>\n

He introduced himself as the father of the boy she had sold a Porsche for fifteen dollars and wanted to know why she did it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d she said, \u201cI got a call from my husband this morning. I thought he was on a business trip, but I learned from a friend that he had run off to Hawaii with his secretary. Then, she stole all his money and stranded him there!<\/p>\n

Well, he called me without a dollar and asked me to sell his new Porsche and send him the money. So, that\u2019s exactly what I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the end of the week, the young man broke the church\u2019s record for the highest number of bibles sales in one week.<\/p>\n
