By the time a Marine pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken.<\/h2>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got to have a room somewhere,\u201d he pleaded. \u201cOr just a bed, I don\u2019t care where.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I do have a double room with one occupant, a Navy guy,\u201d admitted the manager, \u201cand he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I\u2019m not sure it\u2019d be worth it to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo problem,\u201d the tired Marine assured him. \u201cI\u2019ll take it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next morning the Marine came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow\u2019d you sleep?\u201d Asked the manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever better.\u201d<\/p>\n

The manager was impressed. \u201cNo problem with the other guy snoring, then?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNope, I shut him up in no time,\u201d said the Marine.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow\u2019d you manage that?\u201d asked the manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room,\u201d the Marine explained. \u201cI went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said,\u00a0\u2018Goodnight, beautiful,\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0and he sat up all night watching me.\u201d<\/p>\n

A man and his wife check into a hotel.<\/h2>\n

The husband wants to have a drink at the bar, but his wife is extremely tired so she decides to go on up to their room to rest.<\/p>\n

She lies down on the bed when, suddenly, an elevated train passes by very close to the window and shakes the room so hard she\u2019s thrown out of the bed.<\/p>\n

Thinking this must be a freak occurrence, she lies down once more. Again a train shakes the room so violently, she\u2019s pitched to the floor. Exasperated, she calls the front desk and asks for the manager.<\/p>\n

The manager says he\u2019ll be right up. The manager is skeptical but the wife insists the story is true.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, lie here on the bed and you\u2019ll be thrown right to the floor!\u201d she tells him, So he lies down next to the wife.<\/p>\n

Just then the husband walks in. \u201cWhat,\u201d he says, \u201cwhat are you doing here?!\u201d<\/p>\n

The manager calmly replies: \u201cWould you believe I\u2019m waiting for a train?\u201d<\/p>\n

A young couple got married and went away on their honeymoon.<\/h2>\n

After two weeks, they came back and finally opened all the presents they had received from friends and family. Since this was a new house, the process took some time.<\/p>\n

A week later, they received in the mail two tickets for a very popular show. They were very excited and warmed by the gesture of the host. Inside the envelope, however, was only a small piece of paper with a single line, \u201cGuess who sent them?\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair had much fun trying to identify the donor, but failed in the effort. They went to the theatre, and had a wonderful time. On their return home late at night, still trying to guess the identity of the unknown host, they found the house stripped of every article of value.<\/p>\n
