A husband and wife are having a friendly debate one night, centered on the topic of who has better friends.<\/h2>\n

They each offer a wide variety of anecdotes and stories, but in the end, they decide to put it to the test.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s what we\u2019ll do,\u201d the wife suggests. \u201cI\u2019ll call your friends, and you call mine. We\u2019ll both pretend that the other person hasn\u2019t come home yet, and that we\u2019re worried. Whoever\u2019s friends give the best advice about where to find us clearly know us better, and therefore are better.\u201d<\/p>\n

The husband agrees to the game, and they both head off into separate rooms. When they reconvene a half an hour later, the husband looks defeated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, honey,\u201d he says, \u201cI think it\u2019s pretty clear that you have better friends. Every one of them listed each of your favorite restaurants, salons, shops, and art galleries, and they had phone numbers for each of them. They knew your work hours by heart, your office extension, your boss\u2019s name, and even the route that you take home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The wife shakes her head. \u201cNo, dear,\u201d she replies, \u201cyou have better friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy do you say that?\u201d asks the husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d the wife replies,\u00a0\u201cmost of them said that you\u2019d been at their place, and three of them said that you were still there.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maria and Julia were old friends.<\/h2>\n

They had in fact they had been friends for many years and both of them have been married to their husbands for a very long time.<\/p>\n

One day, Julia went to visit Maria and confided in her that she was upset because she thought her husband didn\u2019t find her attractive any more.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I get older he doesn\u2019t bother to look at me\u201d, Julia cried on her best friend Maria\u2019s shoulder.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so sorry for you\u201d, Maria said. \u201cAs I get older, my husband says that I get more beautiful every day\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course he does\u201d, Julia answered,\u00a0\u201cyour husband is an antique dealer!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man says to his friend,<\/h2>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t spoken to my wife in 18 months.\u201d<\/p>\n

The friend says, \u201cWhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n

The man says,\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t like to interrupt her.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wife: \u201cHoney let\u2019s play a game?\u201d<\/h2>\n

Husband: \u201cOk, what is the game all about?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wife: \u201cIf I mention a country, you will run to the left side of the room and touch the wall. And if I mention a bird you will run to the right side of the room and touch the wall. If you run to the wrong direction, you will give me all your salary for the month.\u201d<\/p>\n

Husband: \u201cOk and if you fail, I will have your salary too right?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wife: (smile) \u201cYes darling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Husband: \u201cOk\u201d (stood up and was ready to run to any direction)<\/p>\n

Wife: \u201cAre u ready?\u201d<\/p>\n

Husband: \u201cYes, ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
