A large, well-established, lumber camp advertised that they were looking for a good lumberjack. The very next day, a skinny little man showed up at the camp with his axe and knocked on the head lumberjack\u2019s door.<\/p>\n

The head lumberjack took one look at the little man and told him to leave.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust give me a chance to show you what I can do,\u201d said the skinny man.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, see that giant redwood over there?\u201d said the lumberjack. \u201cTake your axe and go cut it down.\u201d<\/p>\n

The skinny man headed for the tree, and in five minutes he was back knocking on the lumberjack\u2019s door.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cut the tree down,\u201d said the man.<\/p>\n

The lumberjack couldn\u2019t believe his eyes and said: \u201cWhere did you get the skill to chop down trees like that?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Sahara Forest,\u201d replied the man.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou mean the Sahara Desert,\u201d said the lumberjack.<\/p>\n

The little man laughed and answered back:\u00a0\u201cSure, that\u2019s what they call it NOW!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d like your expert opinion on this guitar, how much do you think it\u2019s worth?\u201d asks the old man.<\/p>\n

The pawn broker looks it up and down. \u201cWell, I can tell right now that there\u2019s a little warping in the neck, the lacquer is faded and there\u2019s scratches and dents all over it. It\u2019s an old, well-played guitar but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s worth any more than twenty bucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The old man reaches his hand out and says, \u201cOkay, if that\u2019s what you think it\u2019s worth.. you have a deal!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat!\u201d replies the pawn broker, shaking his hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s twenty bucks,\u201d says the old man. \u201cI\u2019ll buy it right now!\u201d<\/p>\n

The broker stops, and suddenly looks confused.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait\u2026. buy?\u201d he asks.<\/p>\n
