A Father put his 3-year-old daughter to bed, told he a story, and listened to her prayers which ended with her saying, \u201cGod bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma, and goodbye Grandpa.\u201d<\/p>\n

The father asked, \u2018Why did you say goodbye Grandpa?\u2019<\/p>\n

The little girl said, \u201cI don\u2019t know Daddy, it just seemed like the thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next day Grandpa died.<\/p>\n

The father thought it was a strange coincidence.<\/p>\n

A few months later the father put the girl to bed and listened to her prayers which went like this, \u201cGod bless Mommy, God Bless Daddy, and goodbye Grandma.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next day the grandmother died.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoly crap,\u201d thought the father, \u201cThis kid is in contact with the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Several weeks later when the girl was going to bed the dad heard her say, \u201cGod bless Mommy and goodbye Daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He practically went into shock.<\/p>\n

He couldn\u2019t sleep all night and got up at the crack of dawn to go to his office.<\/p>\n

He was nervous as a cat all day, had lunch, and watched the clock.<\/p>\n

He figured if he could get by until midnight he would be okay.<\/p>\n

He felt safe in the office, so instead of going home at the end of the day he stayed there, drinking coffee, looking at his watch, and jumping at every sound.<\/p>\n

Finally, midnight arrived; he breathed a sigh of relief and went home.<\/p>\n

When he got home his wife said, \u201cI\u2019ve never seen you work so late. What\u2019s the matter?\u201d<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cI don\u2019t want to talk about it, I\u2019ve just spent the worst day of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cYou think you had a bad day, you\u2019ll never believe what happened to me,\u201d \u201cThis morning my boss died in the middle of a meeting!\u201d<\/p>\n

The boy runs home and leaves the dad waiting at the game.<\/p>\n

Half an hour later, the boy returned to his father, who waited patiently outside the stadium.<\/p>\n

The father asks: \u201cDid you find them?\u201d<\/p>\n

The boy replies: \u201cYep, they\u2019re on the kitchen table where you left them.\u201d<\/p>\n
