With a grin, George proudly shared his latest \u201cdiscovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoc, I\u2019m truly blessed,\u201d he said. \u201cGod knows my eyesight is getting worse, so He turns on the light for me when I use the bathroom at night\u2014and turns it off when I\u2019m done!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Stephens couldn\u2019t help but chuckle, but his curiosity got the best of him. Later that day, he called George\u2019s wife, Maria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaria, your husband\u2019s test results came back perfectly fine,\u201d the doctor said. \u201cBut, uh, he said something a bit odd\u2014he claims God turns the lights on and off for him when he uses the bathroom at night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maria burst into laughter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat old fool! Stand 20 feet away from her and ask her something. If she doesn\u2019t hear you, get closer and ask again. Keep moving closer until she hears you. This way we\u2019ll have an idea of her hearing range.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So, the husband heads home, where his wife is chopping vegetables for dinner in the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>From 20 feet away: \u201cWhat\u2019s for dinner?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>No answer.<\/p>\n<p>From 10 feet: \u201cWhat\u2019s for dinner?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still no answer.<\/p>\n<p>From 5 feet: \u201cWhat\u2019s for dinner?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, he stands right behind her and asks: \u201cWhat\u2019s for dinner?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She turns around and says, \u201cFor the FOURTH time, BEEF STEW!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hope these jokes brought a smile to your face!
