When you look at people in the world around you, it doesn\u2019t take much to recognize that they don\u2019t look similar. Everybody has their own look and at times, that look may draw more attention than others.<\/p>\n

One person who understands this very well is Elisabeth Van Aalderen. She is a photographer who works in the fashion industry and is pursuing her dream as a professional photographer. That changed about eight years ago when she developed vitiligo.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI started to get tiny white spots on my left hand. After a few weeks, the small spots turned into one bigger spot. That\u2019s when it all started. Today, 60% of my skin is covered in vitiligo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elizabeth has now photographed many women who also have the same condition. She intends to show the beauty of those women to the world. You can see many of her photographs below:<\/p>\n
